Champions Crowned at Mountain Two-Day

After round one at Gypsum Creek GC, the final round of the Mountain Two-Day Event was held at Eagle Ranch GC. The thirty-six hole competition concluded on Tuesday with champions crowned in each division.
 
In the Boys Tour division, Barrett Jones held his first round lead to win the event by seven strokes. Jones finished the tournament four under par (69, 71 – 140). Second place was earned by Micah Stangebye who shot the low score of the day at Eagle Ranch (77, 70 – 147). Joseph Madden earned third place (77, 72 – 149).
 
In the Girls Tour division, Caroline Jordaan also held her first round lead to win the event by two strokes (72, 74 – 146). Lauren Lehigh finished in second place (75, 73 – 152). There was a three-way tie for third place at 152 between Katie Berrian (79, 73), Marie Jordaan (73, 79) and Brandy McClain (79, 73).

In the Boys 16-18 Series division, Zachary Snow shot two consistent rounds of 76 to finish in first place (152). Ted Trujillo was five strokes back in second place (80, 77 – 157) while Ryan Speck finished third (84, 82 – 166).
 
In the Boys 14-15 Series division, Oliver Rotermund won the division with a total score of 159 (79, 80). Second place was earned by Tyler Tyson (84, 77 – 161). After great bounce back, Justin Holobaugh finished third (88, 75 – 163).
 
In the Girls 14-18 Series division, Katelyn Lehigh increased her first round one-stroke lead to a four stroke lead to earn top honors (86, 87 – 173). Christina Cheng shot rounds of 87, 92 (179) to take second place. The third place finisher was Lisa Kelley (98, 88 – 186).
 
In the Boys 11-13 Series division, Blake Sullivan played two very impressive rounds to finish in first place (74, 73 – 147). Sullivan won by twelve strokes! Charlie Flaxbeard finished in second place (83, 76 – 159) while Max Rotermund earned third place (81, 79 – 160).
 
In the Girls 11-13 Series division, Kaylee Chen increase her first round lead of one stroke to win the event by four strokes (82, 78 – 160). Hadley Ashton finished in second place with scores of 83, 81 (164). Gisella Lagrimas earned third place with a two-day total of 171 (88, 83).
