JGAC Fall Tour Event at The Fox Hill Club Underway

The Fox Hill Club in Longmont, CO hosted fifty-five JGAC Tour players in Day 1 of the Fall Tour Event on Saturday. Play will continue through eighteen holes on Sunday. Players are competing for top honors and looking to move up the JGAC Tour Points List to earn invitation to the final JGAC Major Championship of the year being held at Cherry Hills CC on October 8-9.

After Day 1 in the Boys Championship, Jackson Solem of Longmont, CO carded -1 69 to lead by one stroke. Solem had four birdies on his front nine. Daniel Pearson, also of Longmont, CO is one back after he shot even par (70) during Round 1. Cole Krantz of Windsor, CO and Walker Franklin of Broomfield, CO are tied for third place (71, +1). In the Girls Championship, Hailey Schalk of Erie, CO leads the field by three strokes after carding a two-over par, 75. Kelsey Webster of Boulder, CO holds second place (75, +5), while Lauren Lehigh of Loveland, CO and Jenna Chun of Englewood, CO are tied for third (77, +7).
