Day 2
In the boys division, Tyler Severin of Johnstown, CO held his Day 1 lead to finish in first place. He fired a second round 69 to tie his career best and win the Boys Championship division by three strokes. His 5-under par finish bested Jake Welch of Highlands Ranch, CO (71, 71 - 142). Third place was earned by Walker Franklin of Broomfield, CO. For complete boys results click HERE.

Lauren Lehigh of Loveland, CO shot a second round score of 73 (+1) to find herself in a two-way tie after trailing Hailey Schalk of Erie, CO by four strokes after Day 1. Lehigh won the championship playoff on the first hole to claim top honors at 153. Coming in third place was Amy Chitkoksoong of Aurora, CO (79, 77 - 156). For complete girls results click HERE.


Day 1
The Junior Golf Alliance of Colorado continued its summer schedule today, heading north to Pelican Lakes Golf and Country Club.
 
It was a picture perfect day for golf, as temperatures were high with very little wind. Tyler Severin, of Johnstown, Colorado, takes the lead after Day 1. Severin made 3 birdies and an eagle in route to a two-under 70 to take a one stroke lead over Jake Welch of Highlands Ranch, Colorado. In third place and just two strokes off the lead is Walker Franklin, who shot an even-par 72. Marcus Tait comes in next at two-under (70). Rounding out the Top 5 is Josh Caridi, Dawson Holmes, and Will Branan, all shooting +1, 73. For complete Boys Division results, click HERE.
 
In the girl’s division, Hailey Schalk, of Erie, Colorado, continues her great play, as she takes the lead after Round 1. Schalk made two birdies on the day, in route to a four-over 76. She holds a three stroke lead over Amy Chitkoksoong, of Aurora, Colorado. Four players are all just one stroke behind Chitkoksoong at +8 (80).
