The Junior Golf Alliance of Colorado headed north again today; this time to The Olde Course at Loveland.

It was a picture perfect day for golf, as temperatures were high with very little wind. Tyler Severin, of Johnstown, Colorado and Tj Shehee of Mead, Colorado takes the lead after Day 1. Both Severin and Shehee made 5 birdies in route to matching one-under 71s to take a two stroke lead over Jack Tickle of Centennial, Colorado. Our Top 5 is crowded with five players in 4th place. Jake Butler, Cameron Lampe, Michael Perea, Jake Welch, and Dillon Stewart will be just three strokes back entering Round 2 with their two-over 74s. For complete Boys Division results, click HERE.

In the girl’s division, Caroline Jordaan, of Denver, Colorado, takes the lead after Round 1. Jordaan made three birdies on the day, in route to a solid two-over 74. She holds a three stroke lead over Lauren Lehigh, of Loveland, Colorado. Rounding out our top 3 after Day 1 is Julia Baroth of Denver and Payton Canon of Englewood. Baroth and Canon are just five strokes out of the lead after their matching 79s. With a bunched leaderboard, Round 2 should prove to be an exciting one.
