"Road to Augusta" Takes a Trip Through Aurora, Colorado

Aurora, CO- The “Road to Augusta” continued this week when over 200 junior golfers visited Murphy Creek Golf Course to compete in the fourth local qualifier of the summer for the 2017 Drive, Chip, and Putt championship. In total, 24 individuals qualified for the next stage, the Sub-Regional event, which will be hosted by Commonground Golf Course on August 13th.
 
It was another beautiful Colorado summer day in which juniors in four different age divisions (7-9, 10-11, 12-13, 14-15) showcased their skills at the driving, chipping, and putting stations. 3 golfers in each age division and gender qualified to advance to the Sub-Regional event.
