In the Boys Tour division, Barrett Jones takes the lead after a three-under 69. Jones’ three birdies and an eagle leaves him four shots clear of the field. In second place is Blake Schneiter, carding a 73. Rounding out our top 3 after Round 1 is Holden Kleager (75).
In the Girls Tour division, Caroline Jordaan holds a one-shot lead over her sister, Marie Jordaan. Caroline fired an even-par 72, while Marie shot one-over 73. Marie made three birdies in a row on holes 11-13! In third place and just three back of the lead is Lauren Lehigh (75).
In the Boys 16-18 Series division, Zachary Snow fired a four-over 76 to take a four-shot lead into Round 2. His closest challenger is Ted Truillo (80) and in third place is Ryan Speck (84).
In the Boys 14-15 Series division, the competition is still wide open. After a Round 1 79, Oliver Rotermund takes the lead. Just two strokes behind Rotermund is Dakota Dolph and rounding out our top 3 is Tyler Tyson. Tyson shot a twelve-over 84.
In the Girls 14-18 Series division, Katelyn Lehigh will take a one stroke lead into the final day. Lehigh fired an 86 to remain one clear of Christina Cheng, who shot an 87 today. In third place is Ella Chism after a Round 1 94.
In the Boys 11-13 Series division, Blake Sullivan fired a very impressive two-over 74. Sullivan made two birdies on the day, offset by just four bogeys. He holds a three-stroke lead over Alex Chitkoksoong (77). Max Rotermund (81) will enter Day 2 in third place.
In the Girls 11-13 Series division, Kaylee Chen takes the lead after shooting an 82. Her lead is just one, however, as Hadley Ashton fired an 83 to stand in second place. Rounding out the top 3 is Gisella Lagrimas (88).
