The 2017 Western Chapter Championship is a two-day event being hosted in Grand Junction, CO by Tiara Rado GC. Play began on Saturday and will conclude on Sunday.

In the Boys Tour division, Canon Olkowski of Grand Junction, CO lead the way after firing a five-under par 66. He is followed by Jack Hughes of Aspen, CO (69, -1), Jacob Smith of Rifle, CO (71, E) and Micah Stangebye of Montrose, CO (71, E). 

In the Girls Tour division, Brittlynn O'Dell also of Grand Junction, CO leads the field by three strokes after shooting 77 (+6). She is followed by Brandy McClain of Denver, CO (80, +9) and Gracie Olkowski of Grand Junction, CO (81, +10).

The Boys 14-18 division is lead by Isaiah Mallory of Grand Junction, CO (79, +8). He is followed by Nathan Smith of Pagosa Springs, CO (87, +16) and Connor Downey of Edwards, CO (92, +21).

Alyssa Chin of Greenwood Village, CO leads the Girls 14-18 division by nine strokes. She shot fourteen over par (85). Lisa Kelley of Carbondale currently hold second place (94, +23) while Nicole Cherry of Montrose, CO is in third (109, +38).

In the Boys 11-13 division, Nick Pevny of Aspen, CO leads the field by nine strokes after firing a one-over par 72. Second place is held by Hunter Swanson of Denver, CO (81, +10) and third by Qwenton Caldwell of Littleton, CO and Ben Chin of Greenwood Village, CO (87, +16). 

Two players are competing in the Girls 11-13 division. Logan Hale of Eagle, CO shot 115 (+44) and Mallory Hopper of Denver, CO shot 127 (+56).

The Boys 10 & Under division is lead by Frank Lockwood of Meridian, CO (37, +1) while Kaden Devenport of Windsor, CO follows close behind (38, +2). Third place is currently held by Joshua Shanks of Grand Junction, CO (40, +4).

Caitlyn Chin of Greenwood Village, CO lead the Girls 10 & Under division by 12 strokes after shooting a three-over par 39. Second place is held by Kady Ulrich of Grand Junction, CO (51, +17) while Jessy Merrell of Vernal, UT and Taylor Hale of Eagle, CO are tied for third (53, +17).
