Twenty-four JGAC juniors aged 6-10 competed in the two-day event hosted by the Short Course at Cordillera and Willow Creek at Eagle Vail. After two days of 9 hole competition, three winners were crowned.

In the Boys 9-10 Division, Jake Dost of Parker, CO took top honors by 10 strokes over his fellow competitors. Dost shot a personal best 28 on Day 2 at Willow Creek. He started his round with two back-to-back birdies. Dost (39 - 28, 67) was followed in second place by Nicholas Buchenau of Denver, CO (41 - 36, 77). The Boys 6-8 Division was led by Charlie Budacz-Kauflin of Niwot, CO. This was Charlie's first JGAC tournament and he bested the field by 5 stokes (45 - 35, 80). Second place honors went to Campbell McFadden of Denver, CO (41 - 44, 85). Ashton Edwards of Boulder, CO went 52, 38 (90) to take third place in his first JGAC event. Caitlin Chin of Greenwood Village, CO earned first place in the Girls Division this week. She shot two consistent rounds of 37, 38 (75) to win by 12 strokes. Zoey Gomez of Westminster, CO and Hillary Nelson of Castle Rock, CO tied for second place with a two day total of 87. For complete Girls Division results, CLICK HERE.

The JGAC 10 & Under Division has two remaining summer events before the season ending invitational at Boulder Country Club on August 10th. Fall Series events will follow.
